I ordered a navigational system from this company and was told it would deliver in 3to5 business days... I ordered in plenty of time before leaving for my vacation. They didn't send it for over 2 weeks. When i received it it was visibly used... Like a demo model... And wouldn't work..
I contacted them immediately via email since they didn't have a customer service phone number. I was told that i would have to wait on a return voucher (their permission to return the item..) If the item wasn't returned within 10 days you couldn't get a refund... It took them over 3 weeks to get this return permission for me to return the item. Then they took forever to credit my credit card only a portion of the price. They charged me $70 for restock fees and shipping... Shipping was free when i bought it and i paid return shipping... They should have to refund me that but, my credit card is only disputing the $70...
They have recently sent a threatening email saying if i don't immediately drop the charge back by the credit card they will turn me over to a collection agency. And then they sent me an additional bill for $25 for the fee they have to pay to turn me over to the collectors...
I understand they have policies in place and if they had done everything right, I would respect those policies. However I do shop online a lot and have never ever come across a merchant who actually lists on their web site such harsh restrictions..including the fact that if you report them to your credit card, they will turn you over to a collection agency... This seems to me now that i have had so much trouble with them to be a red flag... Its almost like they are sending out the same navigational system over and over and making their money from the scam of restock charges and collection agencies. I have tried to settle this with them but customer service is not their stronghold...
They could care less about anything except the money involved. They haven't tried to help me in any way at all. Even though they were very very poor merchants and didn't follow their part of the deal...
Their own website states that they only sell new factory sealed merchandise... No refurbished or used... We own navigational systems so we know something about them... This one was a piece of junk... I shouldn't have to pay one cent for their negligence!!! Thanks so much
