When I signed up for the "free" cd I only authorized the cost of shipping and handling. I ended up getting stuck in another state because I ran out of gas and my credit card was maxed out (I only have a $500 limit b/c it's a student card).
I knew I didn't reach my credit limit because I write all my charges in a book (my mom takes care of the bill). I finally got home and checked my online statements. I couldn't believe I had been charged $49.95 for 2 months! It was for a service I never even knew about. I couldn't find the website or a number on my statement for the life of me so I called my credit card company.
I told them the situation and they put the credit back in my account and I thought it was over. Now I'm being billed by another company in St. George, Utah for $7.95.
I can't help but think Grant Search Assistant is behind it. It's located in the same city and state. Plus, I only used my credit card once online and it was for the Grant Search Assistant. It also showed up right after my credit card company disputed the charge. Coincidence? Doubtful.
I just got off the phone with my credit card company and they're disputing the charges. I've never even seen networkagenda.com. I don't even know why I'd need it, neither did the lady handling the claim.
Unless you like wasting money and time I would never sign up with this company. Setting your money on fire is a better investment, at least it'll keep you warm.
