I am a free-lance computer tech. I was contacted, unsolicited by Bill Carson of "3 Geeks and a Mouse" and my services were obtained by this company to do some service tech work for a nationally-known security company. I agreed to perform some work for "3 Geeks" at an agreed-upon price. Having completed the work, I then had to wait for 6 weeks to get paid.
It wasn't until I threatened to report the company to the Attorney General of the State of Texas that they sent me a partial payment. They have since refused to pay me for the final third of the money they owe me because the owner/manager of the company, one Bill Carson, claims that I'm "an *" for giving HIM such a hard time!
You can search their website in vain for a physical address anywhere. They claim to be offering tech services in each of the 50 states - they are everywhere, and nowhere! A very shady operation, to say the least.
All I can say is: if you are a computer tech and you are contacted by them to perform some work - give it a pass! It's not worth the hassle you'll face trying to get paid. And if you are thinking about hiring them - well they do hire good people to work for them, but consider whether you'd want to hire a company that refuses to pay its' employees for their work.
