I tried CrystalVisions trial offer and found out that their shopping site and once a month disk were both rip-offs. The prices on the sales site were far from being the best around. The downloads on the CD were the same you could find on several download sites.
Unfortunately, I did not respond prior to the end of the trail period and was charged a one-time "life-time" fee of $49.95. Just so you know, the "life-time" fee was for the shopping site, whether you ever buy anything or not. That was hidden in the "fine-print".
I screwed up, I knew it, so I did contact the company and asked not to be sent any additional CDs, literature, e-mails, etc. The CDs kept coming and they kept charging me $19.95 with each one.
I've contacted them a second time and followed that with an e-mail. I've asked a "huffy" customer service representative to stop sending the CDs.
I just want to make sure people realize what they're getting (basically nothing) and that this company has a hard time understanding what "STOP" means.
I'll up-date if I receive any additional CDs.
