When trying to establish a business, I came across this website to get a Fed ID. They have you fill out all your information and tell you they are sending it to the Fed and the State. AFTER they charge you, they send you a message that says you need to call the IRS for this to be valid. You can get this form free on www.IRS. Gov and it costs nothing to file and get the number. They are doing absolutely nothing for you but providing you a form that's already online for free.
