I never did get my rebate that at one time was promised from Onrebate (alia Tigerdirect). What I do now is copy any item I see that I want from Tigerdirect, paste it in Google use one of the best price searches and find a vender that sells the same item. What I have found, competitive or lower prices, lower or free shipping. And best of all no rebates to mess with. Tigerdirect has their way of doing business and it does not fit into my standards of good business. I buy more computer components then the average Joe. 7 monitors in the last 6 months, video cards, power supplies, mainboards, memory, hardrives etc. Non of them from Tigerdirect anymore. Why mess with Tigerdirect when there are lots of competive honest companies that value their customers?
And two years later I'm still waiting for the rebate I never got from Onrebate, they received all the required paperwork, at one time they said the rebate was approved. Then they said they needed copies of everthing again.
OK they win, they got to keep their rebate, I got ripped off. They ran me off etc. Best to cut your losses and go somewhere a good customer is apprectiated, that's what I did. But they still have a great system for finding what you need, just cut and paste into Google and order the item from someone else.
