I have a PayPal account and have been a customer in good standing with them for many years. Last year someone stole my identity (probably my fault) and used my eBay account name and sold something and didn't deliver it to the customer. PayPal FROZE my account and had over THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS of mine.in order to get this money back, they said, all I had to do was file a police report. I did this and faxed a copy to them. Then they refused to release my account because it was not convincing. They wanted $500.
I consulted an attorney who said I probably could beat it but it would cost me a lot more than $500. I paid it just so I could get the rest of that money. Well, talk about DUMB AND DUMBER. I continued to use PayPal thinking this could never happen again. You must know what's coming.
Yep, my account is frozen. This time, THEY SAID, it is because they THINK my account is linked to someone else who owes them money. They THINK. There's the problem. They do not think. This time they want about $200 and they have $133 of mine frozen and I am not going to pay it.
This company is a gigantic RIPOFF.
