I signed up for MyImgs.com so I could host some some images for my ebay auctions. They had a free five day trial. I started out with the free trial but soon realized that it would run out before my auctions ended so I paid for an upgrade to a "small account". It was not much, thank goodness, only $2.50 per month, but four days after I paid, my account was still not upgraded. And two hours before my auctions ended, the place in each auction where the image was showed "Account Suspended - please upgrade".
Needless to say, that ruined those auctions and those products did not sell. The MyImgs.com website lists no physical address but does have a contact form. I used the contact form to send them my 2CheckOut.com receipt number which showed I paid for the upgrade. Never heard back from them.
So I am filing this rip off report. Yes, I know this is a small amount of money but this appears to be just another company who hides behind the web and does not attend to customer service issues. And there are other monthly plans which are more expensive and other people could get ripped off for more. Needless to say, I won't be considering them for image hosting.
Fortunately 2CheckOut.com is a third party that I can stop the payment through and I'll only be out $2.50. However, if you're considering them for an image hosting service, my advise would be to try someone else. There are plenty of others.
