Internet Speedway
Youl need to buy an "upgrade" in order to increase your product base

On December 3rd 2004 I purchased the Internet Speedway Startup Kit (for $59.00) with the intention to start an internet business. I used a credit card. On December 28th I purchased an additional upgrade (for $ 100.00) to increase the amount of products I would have available to sell on my internet site with the intention of increasing my product base and my site availability on the internet.

On January 7th I setup a merchant account using CARDSERVICE INTERNATIONAL to process future credit card purchases. This was to show that I was serious about starting an internet business. Again, on January 17th I purchased another upgrade (for $549.95). At about this time I started to add a considerable (approximately 1800) amount of products to my internet site.

This upgrade included a minor redesign of my internet site. On January 20th I was billed for $59.85 for Internet Speedway franchise fees.

On January 22nd 2005 I was billed by Landmark Solutions to process Credit card purchases. This was again to prove that I was very serious about starting up an internet business. On January 26th I purchased yet another Upgrade for $500.00 to revamp my internet site again. It was suggested from a Customer Care Agent, that I drop the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Prices (suggested from the Warehouse) on my products. I began to drop the MSRP considerably. Some products sold for less than $1.00 profit. As of this point, I have yet to sell a single item on my internet site. On March 2nd 2005 I received notice that I actually sold an IBM ThinkPad 600 Series Battery Pack for an IBM Laptop computer to a Susan Todd of New London, CT. I was ecstatic!

However, on April 9th I was informed by the Credit card processing company that the charge was fraudulent I would have to pay back the $100.00 profit from the sale. I called Internet Speedway to inform them of the fraudulent transaction. They told me it was not their fault and refused to give any kind of remedy. It was at this time I decided to close out the all of the accounts pertaining to KR Enterprises.

On March 25th I purchased a complete revamping of my internet site. This upgrade included increasing the amount of products I have to offer and a web page professional looking web site at the cost of $1,500.00. With all of these Upgrades, I assumed that they would increase my sales considerably. I had only ONE sale (which was fraudulent).

On May 9th I informed Internet Speedway. It was at this time I decided to close out the all of the accounts pertaining KR Enterprises and Internet Speedway.
Internet Speedway refuses to refund any of my money. I feel that I should not have to pay for the upgrades after January 1st 2005 because these Upgrades did not increase any sales whatsoever. I spoke to someone in the billing department today (8-2) and I get this response Internet Speedway does not guarantee sales.
If you have heard their advertisements on radio stations such the advertisements insinuate that Internet Speedway is a very profitable business venture.

Finally, I entered into this venture with the intention of supplementing my disability income. It has turned out that this venture is a complete disaster for me financially.

I have tried to get refunds for the "Upgrades" after January 30th but they refuse to refund anything.
