This company was listed on the internet as having the lowest price for an item I wanted to purchase. The item was listed on linking sites for approximately $122.00. When I visited the Page Computer website, the item was shown as being available for the approximate $122. Oo price.
I ordered the item via their website, and subsequently received an email stating: "Unfortunately, the product you requested is currently unavailable. We feel it is in your best interest that we cancel your order, so that you have ample time to source the product from another supplier. We have not charged your credit card.in the event that we have charged your card, we will reverse it immediately."
I revisited the Page Computer website and found that the item was now listed at $163.00. I checked my credit card account and found out that Page Computer did in fact charge my credit card. I called my credit card company to verify the following: I asked if charging my credit card without the item constitutes fraud, and they said yes.
If you have a problem with this company, call your credit card company immediately and dispute the charge.
