I purchased software that was never delivered. Company would not refund my money either. Ripoff Orange City Florida

FREE Software Forever offers and sells many different "packages" of software. Some is for personal use; some is available for resale.

I was already a member, having purchased the first available package of software. Every couple of weeks, they email you an informational "update" that inevitably includes a sales pitch for other available software packages and cd's.

I purchased one of these programs, specifically it was called SoftGin. It is a program used to generate program code. It costs $125. I purchased this just before several hurricanes hit Florida in the fall of 2004. Joe Clayton, the president of FREE Software Forever, immediately sent out several emails apologizing for any delays that were occurring because of the damage that Florida suffered during these terrible hurricanes.

Along with these hurricane updates, there were also sales pitches for smaller "hurricane" sales. I also bought a couple of these smaller programs, some as little as $7.77 I alsos bought another program mentioned in these updates, titled Windows XP Training. It cost $75 Both programs were purchased with PayPal

I was quite patient and understanding as I knew the hurricanes had really reaked some havoc in Florida. I probably would have forgotten about them but since the bi-weekly "updates" kept arriving, I was always reminded.

Towards the end of December and into January I started to send emails asking what happened to my orders. After several emails, Joe answered and told me to contact someone else, namely "Tiger Investigations" This company was supposedly responsible for actually delivering products. Since all of their products are downloaded anyway, all this company really does is send emails with links for downloading.

Well, after two emails to them, and after they "found" my orders, they did send me links to download the $125.00 software. I did download it. However, I couldn't get information regarding the Windows XP training files. After a few more emails, they said the "server" was being moved and it would be available soon. Well, "soon" never came and after a few more weeks and emails, I was annoyed.

I emailed Joe Clayton again and simply got a hasty "the emails with links were sent to you. We have logs to prove it. We can't help it if our emails are blocked" That was it! They are always claiming that their emails are "filtered". Funny though, I always receive the updates and sales information... Well anyway, that was it. I tired several more emails but have not heard from them again regarding that software.

At this point, it was well over the 90 days that PayPal would have even investigated it. Very annoying and unbusinesslike.

I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars online and fortunately, 99% of it has been a great experience. FREE Software Forever falls into the other 1%.
