I bought a laptop from ibuypower, which had a broken LAN port, and the DVD drive and USB ports were quirky as well. Only worked part of the time. I immediately tried to return it, the company said they sent me a label, but i never recieved it, and now they claim i never asked for one.
Later the PCMCIA slot broke, and again i tried to return it. No such luck, they kept asking me to hold but sneakingly hung up on me instead. Now, the computer will turn itself off at random times, apparently because of a defective video card and motherboard, but still all they do is lie about sending me labels and hang up on me.
On march 2nd 2005 they told me that they would send me a mailing label and i could return the computer for a 100% refund. When i called back in april, they told me they would not take the computer back and hung up on me. I'm convinced that their plot is to keep blowing me off until my warranty is expired.
