Started with Stamps.com with an internet offer of Free Trial 30 days w/$5.00 free postage. Since I have a small in-home business I was interested in the convenience. This did not pan out as a service that was cost effective so I decided to cancel. Big problems. I contacted the company via phone three consecutive days each time 15 min on hold, hearing very irritating music and periodic announcements re: the web site. Never had an operator pick up.
Went to the web site and after digging thru the site did find a customer support link and emailed them regarding canceling my account. The forth day I used my phone with ear plug set up and literally stayed on hold for 45 min until an operator picked up the phone. I then cancelled my account, very little appology for the wait, and received an email confirming same. It is now the next month and I just got a debit on my main account for their monthly charge. Oh well here we go! Maybe this was the final billing, again! My work as a consumer gets tougher everyday. Thanks consumer complaints for listening. My next listener will be the AG and FTC!!
