Ripoff I See I'm Not The Only One Who's Had A Problem online fraud fake users

I'm going to keep this short, as I've already seen plenty of complaints on this site. Quite simply, after having read various accounts of the questionable activities of Webcapades (owners of the online dating site eroticy.com), I'm convinced that I have been a victim of online fraud.

It's not even necessary for me to go into the bullying tactics that this company has allegedly used against it's one-time affiliates. I, as a member of this site, have been manipulated from day one.

As much as I hate the term "bait and switch, " it's an entirely accurate way to describe the way in which this company operates. You sign up for a free 3 day membership, and no matter what your profile says, you're generally deluged with e-mails from individuals claiming to want to get to know you. Oh boy, what a great site! What a great way to meet people!

Of course, when you actually sign up for the paying membership, the e-mails end. No one answers replies to the initial e-mails that were sent either. Effectively, all activity ceases... That is, until it becomes time to reactivate your membership! Suddenly, you start getting more bogus e-mails... Some of which are quite convincingly written.

As alleged by numerous other posters on this site, I'm thoroughly convinced that these members are fake. I'm not claiming that it's impossible to meet a real person on this site. I've seen many (er... Actually just one or two) supposed members of this site rush to the defence of this company every time it comes under fire on consumer complaints. But not one of them have been able to sufficiently explain (or even bother to address) this shifty pattern of e-mails.

In case any representative of Webcapades is reading, I'd be happy to read your rebuttal. I only ask that you provide a link to a copy of the original Terms of Service under which my membership is being charged. If I somehow missed some fine print stating that not all members represented on your site are active, or even real, I'd be happy to bow out gracefully.

If, as I suspect, the members of your site did not sign away the right to any recourse against fradulent activity by your company, I'll be waiting eagerly for the class-action lawsuit that's bound to appear someday soon. And of course if our agreement does give up that right it'd make our job even easier, as that would be a blatant violation of contract law.

Thanks for your time.
