I placed an order on January 29th, the order was confirmed via email from casualapparelwarehouse.com. After seven days, I used their Web interface to send an email inquiring as to the status of my order. My account on their site indicated that the order was process, my credit card had been charged, and the ground shipping should have arrived.
I waited a couple of more days, but received no response. So, I used the Web interface again to send another email, and I also used their address that sent me the (apparently) automated emails to send a duplicate message.
Still no word, so I looked up their domain name in WHOIS, and called the Administrative Contact number... It was reported as disconnected... Uh oh. Then I did a search and found the usacomplaints.com consumer complaintss.
I then examined the casualapparelwarehouse Website, and found that their SSL Certificate (ability to use HTTPS with authentication), and found that their certificate has expired A.O. 02-13-05.
It would appear that they've absconded, however, they're still doing business from the sites A.O. 02-14-05.
