Like many before me, I fell for the free 40 GB Ipod scam. I first completed 6 offers, 2 from each page. The website only showed 5. I initially thought the system did not accept my 6th completed offer, so I signed up and completed total of 8 offers. I sent numerous emails and left numerous voicemails, but did not receive any response.
I am starting to see a patten of people completing more than 6 offers, but receiving credit for only 5. I am almost certain that this company intentionally gives credit for only 5 offers.
So, after reading few posts on this website, I sent them an email, filed reports with Dept of Justice in FL and NC.
About 4 days after sending my report to the DOJ's, I checked for my status again. Until the night before, the incentiverewardcenter.com showed 5 completed offers. Today, as of Feb 13th, my email address is no longer in the system. This is the message I get: We are not able to find the following email address in our database at Incentiverewardcenter.
Little fishy... Don't you think? Thank God I accidentally printed out the status page few days ago.
If any of you are in same or similiar situation as I'm in, please photocpy/document all your transactions and communications, and file a complaint report with the Dept of Justice in NC and FL. These guys are bunch of crooks, and they should be punished for their fraadulent offer. I'm sure you have nothing more to lose to these crooks, so might as well do as much as you can to get back at these scums.
The info below is from another guy's post on this website. He says he did receive his ipod after complaining to the DOJs. I guess I wasn't as lucky.
Regardless, PLEASE TAKE ACTION AND SEND DOCUMENTED MAILS TO DOJs of NC and FL!!! AND MAKE COPIES BEFORE SEDING ANY INFORMATION!
