I went to the conference in 2001 here in Uniondale, New York. I thought it sounded interesting. They made it sound so good that you wanted to sign up for it. I caught up in the excitement and signed up for the businesses. They just wanted you to sign the papers and didn't give you a chance to read them. I actually paid $350 and they sent the contract to Duvera. But when I tried to contact them for training, they wanted me to pay additional fees for training. The entire thing became more overwhelming and I cancelled.
I never built a web site or started any search engines. Even though I canceled they say I owe them all this money.
I paid them a lot of money and have nothing to show for it and they still want more. Every single company from that day should have their pants sued off them. It is not fair what they did. The room was filled that day for the conference and I know a lot of people got hurt that day just like me. Duvera listed themselves on my credit report. But I don't see why I should pay them for something I did not receive.
People need to be warned about these conferences and businesses. They have them every few months at the Uniondale Marriott on Long Island. They need to be stopped and I need to have Duvera removed from my credit report. I have sent for a copy of your guide so I hope this will give me some hints about what I can do. At this point, I am not convinced that engaging an attorney would help.
