On November 12 Moonlight Marketing/Multi Data Services (phone 877-298-6342) stole 199$ from our checking account using a check called Check$net, which was presented to our bank as a pre-authorized draft. It is check #0001, and on the bottom, where the signature belongs, it is typed in, "This draft is preauthorized by account holder."
We called the number several times but were told that they cannot give out Moonlight Marketing's number, or address. They said they would put the money back into our account within 10-15 business days-ha ha. Have filed a police report as well as Federal Trade Commission report. Have contacted the Mobile (Al) office of the FBI, as well as local news media.
This has to stop before other unsuspecting people are ripped off. We have also filed an affidavit of forgery/unauthorized signature with our bank, who are working on this. This is a crime!
