On 3/22/04 Moonlight Marketing took $87 out of my bank account without my knowledge or permission. I called the 800 number the bank gave me and was told that it was some sort of medical benefits company. They directed me to another number where I was told that it was a credit card company. I called for 2 weeks trying to get my money back, but nobody was ever there to talk to. Then I finally called the first number back and was told I'd get a refund. They did refund my money, so I thought everything would be fine.
Boy, was I wrong! On 5/19/04 I noticed that the same company, Moonlight Marketing, took $296 out of my account. I was outraged and called to get it back. They said that they didn't have the files for that particular company since they had just begun a contract with Moonlight Marketing. I finally got my money back, but they still will not tell me what their so-called proof was.
In fact, they claim that my husband signed up for this 2nd chance credit card deal. They couldn't be more wrong because he has been in Iraq for 3 and 1/2 months now and was not able to sign up for anything of the sort.
My husband is in the military, so I called the military lawyers and scheduled an appointment to see if there is any way I can sue them.
Another thing about Moonlight Marketing is that there is no actual address for them. The only information customer service will give is that Moonlight Marketing is supposedly located in Nevada. They will not give a direct phone number or address or even city to this supposed company.
Beware of anything suspicious on your bank statements and always ask questions if you aren't sur!!!
