JUNE my wife, daughter and I went to comp usa look for a laptop for my daughter to take to college. After the salesperson told us that tap coverage covers everything including dropping the laptop. I purchased a laptop with 3 yr tap. The cost laptop was over $2,000 and the tap was $399. Five months later, it fell off the bed, the casing cracked and the laptop does not go on. COMP USA claims this is not covered, regardless of what the sales person said at the time of purchase.
They will only refund (prorated) the cost of the tap.
After reading some of these rip off letters, I am seeing a pattern of sales persons lying to the customers.
Beware of comp usa sale persons.
ARE THEY TAUGHT TO LIE TO MAKE A SALE?
Are they improperly trained?
The bottom line is the customer loses.
