Won a bid on Ebay for a pair of 1.5 ct. Diamond earrings on Aug. 15. Paid for these earrings on Aug. 15. They never bothered to let me know when they shipped these earrings & it took several emails to get them to respond. They said they shipped them on Aug. 16. I might add that all of their responses (if they even do respond) are "canned responses" & this included their supposedly "complaint dept.".

They have a refund policy; you have 15 days from the time of the item's ship date. They also say they have up to 14 days for delivery.

I received these earrings Aug. 30. The package they came in was postmarked Aug. 26 (not Aug. 16 like they told me). These earrings looked like milk glass with a bunch of cracks in them! Why a jeweler would even bother to cut a stone (?) like this is totally beyond by comprehension.

Sent them back the very day I got them because the next day would have been day 15 (their 15-day policy for refunds you know). Sent it back so whoever received them would have to sign for them. Before I sent them, I checked to see if they had any specific instructions for returns; there was none. I also emailed them & told them I sent them back on this same day.

Two days later, Sept. 1, they emailed me to explain how to send back the earrings! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!

On Sept. 2, I emailed their "complaint department". Sent 6 more emails after that... NEVER an answer.

Oct. 27 I filed a dispute report with Square Trade. I also sent them another email; no response.

On November 11, I got a notice from "Square Trade" that JewelryByEzra did not answer them. Looks like that's the end of it... I'm out my money. Coulda' used it too cuz my husband is now unemployed. These people are supposed to be "Square Trade" dealers! They have the "Square Trade" sign yet they are taking people's money but not giving it back when we aren't satisfied. I didn't find one feedback entry that said "prompt refund" ANYWHERE. Look at how many there are for people NOT getting their refunds.

They might have some good products but if you're not happy with your purchase they couldn't care less. I've written to them till my fingers are raw from typing but could they find time to answer me? No. You watch people... Watch & see how fast they rebut this article I've typed about them. They've got plenty of time for this kind of antiproductive waste of energy. Why they don't take the same energy & put it toward making their disatisfied customers happy (or at least make an effort) is beyond me. It's pretty much on the "duh" level.

Ebay should be ashamed of themselves too. There has been enough documentation about this company & their unprofessional behavior that their "Square Trade" logo should be taken away. The old saying still goes... Buyer beware.

Oh yea... And shame on you people who are working for this dishonest company, especially you ones who rebut all the negative feedbacks. Do you really believe what you are saying? What a disgusting way to make a living. Are they really paying you enough for you to compromise your morals? Are you even thinking about the fact that you are making the top people in this company rich & a good deal of that money doesn't even belong to them? Do you care?
