On 101212 had foot surgery to remove two neuromas, after surgery and recovering from anesthesia, someone from Zynex offered a Tens unit that my doctor recommends for relief from pain and quicker healing of surgery. I was assured my insurance company would cover the cost of the unit and there was no mention of any further items being shipped to me. However on 111212 I received a shipment of Tens Four Leads/extra batteries and the amount billed was $1,495 including $458.96 for the Tens Unit/carrying case/batteries. I tried to return the 111212 shipment and was told that Zynex cannot accept them once they have been shipped due to OSHA regulations. I was not aware of any charge for these as their representative told me that there would not be charge and that they would remove me from their database auto mailing of these supplies. I was under the impression that I was purchasing the Tens Unit only and that my insurance company was pay for the device after I met my deductible which I had. I have instructed my insurance (AETNA) that I will not be paying the $1495 and that I have returned the Tens Unit/carrying case/supplies to Zynex for a credit of all charges to me. These items were returned to Zynex Medical Inc. On 11/27. RFisher, Boones Mill, VA
