I ordered the free 30 day managed cycle of Altovis via the internet at the following URL: https://burdett-processing.com/altovis/complete.Asp? Order_id=94099&MCDvalue=Y on 7/20/04. After receiving the product and discovering that it does not do as it promises, I tried to follow the enclosed directions for cancelling the value-added program to avoid future 60-day cycle shipments and credit card charges of $70.00.
I have not been able to reach the company at either of the phone numbers given (1-866-834-1715 or 1-800-258-6847) after many attempts. A recorded message plays saying "we are currently experiencing a high volume of calls at this time and the wait time is long". I have held on for up to 30 min. With no response. Also, a recoreded message states that you can reach someone instantly and cancel your order by going to their website: www.askberkeley.com. This is a joke! There website (?) in no way allows you to contact them in anyway.
I am extremely frustrated by this situation and do not want any further debits from my credit card. I also would like my money refunded. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
