Radio, TV and internet ads say get Lasik for $495/eye. The actual price after you get your free exam is given as $995-$1295/eye. This is a reputable company as far as the procedure goes. But my problem is with bait & switch advertising. A coworker got the procedure done and has no problems since, but even with his mild near-sightedness (about 20/40) he still did not "qualify" for the $495/eye price. Their ads do not state any restrictions. Ask about bait & switch when you call, otherwise don't waste your time with the free exam or be prepared to pay at least twice as much as you expect.
