My name is Debra My father had a massive stroke in Wasilla Alaska and was alone his wife died in his arms at their home.
My father had planned to come out of retirement to build another house, he had gotten all the quotes from the building supply people to go to this 77th birthday to build like he loved to do
He wished to help a small family out by building small enough for new families to get into a small house. This was his last house to build it was his wish before he died to finish a home for a new family.
My Father was a Korean War and WWII VET. HE was a fireman in Ventrua California, and in Paradise California. He saved peoples lives and now ther is no
one to help me to save my fathers life. The hospital refuses to transport him to Oregon.
He has no blood relatives in Alaska and no visitors. He is now in Extended Care Unit that is owned by the sisters of Providence. I talked with him on July 16th he said he wished to come to Oregon he was talking fine, the next week? He was pretty silent they keep his mouth as dry as if salt has been placed in the mouth. If he is talking?
Why have they not done the therapy for getting him to do solid food? He has not had the proper care as been proven because they did not turn him to aviod Bed sores? The State of Alaska fined the hospital.
Also the doctor who did not treat and infection Thrush? I told the doctor on call He says "You do not know what you are talking about" Listina is his name I called him doctor Listerine accidentally. He refused to treat my father and I was forced to watch him suffer for 10 hours? My fathers throat was engulfed in pain the infection had gone into his lungs, I finally got another doctor in there and He agreeded with me on what I had pointed out to be the symtoms of the infection, but the infection filled his lungs and I watched as the suctioned 2 gallons of yellow pus out of my fathers lungs.
He was paralyzed only on his left side. He had been out chopping wood only a few weeks before this tradgy. I need someones help soon! Or I fear my father will die in the care facility that he is in. I have suffered and ended up getting an antibiotic resistant strep bug (G) from that facility myself, I went on two airliners back home to Oregon and was told not to go into the general public on June 28th? I do not have enough money to fight this organization. I have contacted the State Attorney generals office in Alaska to tell of the hell I went through the lies, the blantant refusal of giving me the chart notes?
This Hospital is well known for its mistreatment in Wasington D.C.? The govenors aid told me that providence has a track record of mistreating vets and medicare elderly people. So why if the know they are not following the federal laws of safety and health standards? What is the problem? How do I save my father"s life?
I sked them to transport and the doctor told me that this was an Emotional Issue not a Medical one? WHAT happened to dignaty of the dieing and elderly ya know end of life we care so much? Even though My father would be around family memebers to help him to recover in a state of the art better Health care? Because we can be there by his side? This is a hospital with Compassion? They were sued for the fact that 26 hours of Chart notes went missing on a brain injured child. The attorney's settled in March after 13 years of fighting. If the Catholic Church has enough money for these attorney's? And the organization has been known for financial gain and is not operating as a non-profit? Why can't they pay the back taxes? We most likely could pay off the national debt? I am just a single mom here. My son who turned 16 years old? Said MOM why does everyone die around my birthday? He had looked forward to meeting his GRANDFATHER.
My Father promised to come to his birthday party after not seeing all of his grandchildren for many years. He was coming home in a week to see all the kids and the grandchildren he had not met?

I will not let them get away with the elderly abuse and I hope that I can save my fathers life by making this Hospital do the job that they are billing for. If not I plan to start a consumer group for elderly care here in Oregon to help the families help themselves. Thank you Please help
