Vinod Patel (Pharmacist) Drug price gouging charging full price for partial perscription and told I must take a lost on ten pills

We all know there is a shortage on certain medications and the desperation felt at not being able to obtain these medications for our love ones.

After spending all week-end calling at least ten different pharmacies to find the certain brand of medication that I needed I called the Prosperity Pharmacy in Manassas, after speaking with the pharmacist who assured me that they had the thirty-day supply to fill my prescription,

I drove the 120 miles required to fill the prescription. Opon submitting the prescription to be filled, the Pharmacist then proceeds to inform me that they only have twenty pills and if I wanted them I would have to pay full thirty - day price and take a lost on the other ten and he would not split the prescription 20 and 10 like most pharmacies.

So, like so many, out of desperation I fell victim to the unscrupulous pharmacist that fills life saving prescription medications at hugely inflated mark up prices, because of the short supply. I paid double for what I would have paid at Rite-Aid for the brand he sold me. I write this to say beware of this pharmacy just because its on the hospital campus does not make it good.
