I am wring you to inform you of the Program Called Satarting over sober run by Mike Harris. I wish I had twenty pages to write his infractions but I will attempt to be suffice. Listed infractions, line item by line item:
He was verbally abusive to his patients.-He claimed to be qualified to treat medical conditions in which he was not qualified. -He had a side construction business in which he used some of his patients as laborers, craftsmen, etc. Paying them menial wages for his profit. -When ex patients asked fora copy of their records while under his care, they were scolded and told that they had no right to their access. -Practiced family couseling even though he had no license to do so. -In many cases, he got payed in cash (never eporting these earnings) -Accepted neighbors and wives of personal friends often threatening to report confidential information to their kin. -There are many other infractions which I am sure you have a copy of.
These infractions were only a portion. I don't believe that I included the fact that Mr. Harris was breaking fire codes as he was cramming sometimes 15 patients in his residence and paying absolutely no attention to the fire code laws. No fire escapes, alarms etc. I suppose it will take a true tragedy before something is done.
I have written over twenty letters to the Massachuseets watchgroup but these hacks seem indifferent and have done little meanwhile many peole are suffering. Should you wish to inquire yourself I will include the name of the peoplesupposedly responsible for making sure Mr Harris does not break ethe Mass Couselor code of ethics.
