Yesterday, I received three phone calls (in succession) while ill, and attempting to rest, saying I did not pay my thirety dollar co-payment to see Dr. Wright. I called Dr. Stephen Wright's office about this, told them I remember paying, because my co-pay is usually twenty dollars, and was told I had to pay thirty, because he is a specialist. Dr. Wright's office manager, Annie, said that the M.D. And their billing service (Marway) were entirely separate, and therefore she could do nothing. On the most recent and clearly harrassing phone call, they want me to tell them how I paid. I said I could not recall (it was months ago. Would you recall?). So now they are jeopardizing my credit history. The Doc was fine, but this way of getting (erro0neous) bills tells me never go to a SDoc who does business like this.
