It started with a clear referral for an MRI WITHOUT CONTRAST. Dominican MRI Center / Radiology Medical Group technician John Rider ignored MY direct order and referral. With more concern for their profit than my well being, I was injected with a contrast solution. I immediately went into anaphylactic shock. Without trained personnel on premises, I was left in fear for my life. I had life altering injuries. Their activity must not be allowed. Society must stand against this type of deviant activity in the medical field.
MRI technician John Rider admitted he was not trained to recognize allergic reactions, yet was allowed to inject patients without a physician present, despite being against the law. RMG also does not believe in the patients right of "INFORMED CONSENT", again something the law requires. After I told Rider NO INJECTION and having a referral for WITHOUT CONTRAST, he injected me anyway. I had to be transported to the emergency hospital with anaphylactic shock, after waiting over 20 minutes with severe breathing difficulties.
