Like others have already posted here, I am a military retiree being forced to use Express Scripts as my mail order vendor of medications. And also like others here, it is clear that we are screwed! After going two weeks without my prescriptions being filled, AND no replies to my emails other than the system generated confirmations, AND no replies to my phone calls I finally called them again today.
They have charged my insurance company (Tricare) for the drugs but refuse to fill the prescriptions because "we have some questions about the dosages, amounts, etc.". Have they pursued these concerns with anyone? No. Are they going to fill the prescriptions then? No. Have they charged Tricare? Yes.
Why isn't this fraud?
Long story short, I told them I was going back to my local pharmacy - or actually I'm going to get them filled for free at my nearest military facility - and that I would never do business with them again. Not surprisingly, they could care less.
We need to start documenting these stories and get them in the right hands.
