Hello to those of you who have been taken in by CareCredit credit cards offered to you by dentists.
I would like to know more about how the dentists sell this card to you in their offices. Do they "pre-approve" you for the credit without your knowing that they have investigated your credit and your personal information? Do they tell you it will be no interest? Do they tell you that there will be no late charges? Do they give you a written "treatment plan?" Do they
tell you that you will be billed as treatment is received — or do they make it clear that you will be billed for the entire amount up front?
Do you fill out the application in the dentist's office. Do they help you with filling out the application?
Did you get charged for the complete amount of the "treatment plan" on the first bill from CareCredit?
Do they have assistants talk you into the plan / sell you on it and on the treatment plan?
What happens if you decide to discontinue treatment? Do you get a refund? If you tried to get a refund was it a hassle?
