Governor Kasich you took office saying that you would clean up the State Medical Board from the false suspensions and disciplines of women physicians for trying to get care-to-function - the business as usual that goes on in Columbus daily - where the women on these Boards take their daily dose of testosterone and behave like there's endless free cash flow.
Look, if women physicians could cast their own fractures, we would do it rather than put up with guy banter and sexual innuendo - when you are well it's hard enough to take, and when you are sick it just turns your stomach. And everything is a photo-op and golf game to you, nothing serious. You didn't get into Medical School, or graduate school, so have some respect for those of us with those achievements - it takes time, money and intelligence - that you are wasting with bad administrative practices & fraud - the boys being boys.
There are bad physicians with 'friends' on the Board, and there is continuing abuse of women MDs who are being destroyed by the State Medical Board of Ohio for saying 'No' to 'understanding' someone who's wife doesn't understand them - and all male MDs are misunderstood. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo had a point; that there is continuing abuse of women in all aspects of life (not just domestic) and in all professions - but you probably don't read.
Women physicians went into medicine to 'make a difference' - not necessarily to get a Mrs. Or to be providing the local version of bad care and referring to a jerk. Care of women in Ohio is not ok - and you might think of that when you are trying to keep jobs in Ohio, or attract jobs to Ohio - how you treat women professionals in Ohio is h*l and companies look at that, ie do their women employees want to put up with that? No human being deserves 19 years of hell for saying 'No' to Dr. Nice and trying to get fracture care, blood work, and get back to work. Women MDs make a lot of sacrifices - through college & Medical School - to get those degrees and make a difference. It's not ok that the State Medical Board of Ohio is now using 'confidential' complaints to allow colleagues to destroy those careers - and for what - the women don't have patient complaints? That's the men.
Please grow up and stop being one of the boys who like to waste women professionals time with 'goes' and with medical care farces, ie the going to orthopedic offices that can't stock cast materials and where everyone smoking and joking about the horse races, the sex, and the parties, etc. Ohio State is a party school, and the medical care in Ohio is party-time.
At the very least have some pity for the parents who helped their daughters get through Medical School only to have them beaten up in orthopedic offices, denied blood work, denied a family & ob-gyn care, denied a life for the jealousies of the perpetual Members of the Truly Bad Medical Board of Ohio.
You lost your parents, but others of us have parents that suffer daily watching what is done to their daughters that they put through Medical School - wasting 19 years of someone's life is not something that will be a plus to Ohio. If there was nothing found on 5 psychiatric evaluations, doing a sixth for 'sport' and 'fun' is maybe going to be done to your daughters someday - what goes around, comes around.
