Quality of Healthcare

I went to my primary care provider (CareMedica) with a work related injury, once they heard it was worker's comp, their quality of care completely changed. I was no longer able to keep my appointment because worker's comp didn't cover extended hours. Came back and was seen by the PA, David Cosenza. During the initial interaction, first thing he stated was "worker's comp issue" and didn't offer a standard handshake, then after I explained in detail my injury, he questioned me as to why I was using such "big words". After finally getting a MRI done, I had to call the PA back after the extended weekend for him to confirm that I had a serious tear in the muscle (which needs surgery immediately). His response was, call your worker's comp, which I later learned that he was suppose to schedule an appointment with his referral. Still trying to get him to call for a surgical appointment (I gave them all the info, place, phone number, doctor) but still haven't gotten a response from the PA. The effectiveness of the surgery is critical to immediate treatment and my window is running out. CareMedica's gross negligence could serious affect the outcome of my surgery. Being a patient advocate should be the primary concern of any healthcare provider and each patient should be treated equally regardless of the method they pay for their healthcare.
