Do Not Buy This Product!
My wife attempted to buy two advertised Lee Majors Bionic Hear hearing aids for her parents.in the TV ad they are promoted as costing $14.95 each.
In filling out the online form, her credit card number was requested before any total charge with shipping was displayed. Once the next screen appeared, the total charged was $609.50, and she could not cancel - no one in customer service. She called our bank to stop payment, but could not because the charge was on a VISA check card and the bank must transfer the money through to VISA by contract. She then called the company 800 number and was informed that the shipment was already made, we could refuse, but they said the USPS is unreliable and they might not receive the returned package. So they might never refund.
After she tried to call on Monday, they turned around and charged our account again, same amount. Again, we're screwed, because it was on the same card. We've cancelled the account, the shipment has not been received, and we are now filing with the Commonwealth Consumer Protection Bureau, and have filed Fraud charges through our bank.
