In October I purchased a Q-Ray bracelet from QE Shop for $99.95. The bracelet did not fit well and I did not like the style once I received it. I called and talked to James Park, who reluctantly agreed to honor what he called a "misprint" price for a more expensive model at $149.95.
Because I wanted the bracelet for a golf tournament that I was leaving for in a few days, I agreed to allow James to charge my credit card for the 2nd item with his promise to refund my first purchase once I returned the first bracelet. He gave me an RA# and I sent the item back from IN to IL the very next day.
I waited and waited, but never received any refund. Then I began an exhaustive emailing and phone calling effort, giving this company every benefit of the doubt possible, but still never received any refund. I never even received any replies to the 4 emails I sent directly to James (who I believe is the owner of this company). I found it interesting that the one time I was able to speak to a real person at one of their numbers, the lady told me that it can often take "them" (customer service) days to return calls about such items. So this must be a common theme for them - NO customer service.
I suspect that they rarely refund money unless someone makes a big deal about it like I have now decided to. I admit that I'm speculating, but if my hunch is right, they are probably charging for 3 or 4 items for every one they actually have to part with.
