Goen Seminars, Weight Loss Hypnosis Seminar, Liposan, GlucoTrim. Isotrim, Lipo-C, Carb-Out Typical bait and switch scam

This is a typcial bait and switch. They lure you in with an ad for weight loss hypnosis for $50. When you get there, they want you to buy over $300 worth of supplements. They try to make it look like they are not purposely peddling them, but they don't even do a good job of that. First they make you write down the names of all kinds of supplements and tell you that you can get them at any health food store. Someone from the audience asked "so we have to take 7 pills 3 times a day?" He answers back "yes" and it will cost you x amount of dollars per month - but it's for your health and then the audience nods yes, it's worth it. Then he struggles to rememeber the name of a website where you can get them for half price. After going on and on with this build up - lo and behold - you will never believe it - there is a pill - well 3 different ones that combine all these supplements and you only have to take them once a day! And guess what - they just happen to have them right there for your convenience. The website is theirs of course - despite the hard time the hypnotist has remembering it - what a joke. Then he goes on with some lame story about how they really don't have their business skills down yet and he's not sure if the pills were delivered to the hotel, sometimes they remember sometimes they don't. The whole act is truly pathetic, but what is more pathetic is the 13 other people in the room with me who were totally clueless. They all bought them! Even though he is not sure they have been delivered - during the hypnosis his partner is busy pulling out the bags of them from underneath the covered tables and setting up the paperwork and credit card machine so that during the break everyone can shell out their money.

I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and was refunded my $50 within 10 days - so you can get your money back if you happen to fall for this. Not sure about getting money for pills - I didn't buy. I couldn't even sit through the hypnosis I was so mad at that point - I couldn't even attempt to focus.
