I also signed up for a free trial of akai - only the postage to pay. Yeah, sure, the postage excuse is just to get hold of your bank details. So far this company has taken over £150.00 from my account, and I can't stop them! Their contact details in the UK are false too - both numbers are disconnected. It is not so easy to open and close bank accounts in the UK, but it looks like this may be the only way for me to go. To add insult to injury, every time they take money, I have to pay a foreign exchange fee too!
I doubt I shall buy anything else from the USA - at least not for a very, very, very long time.
