Beware of these illegal scams - they are true fraudsters!!!
I fell into the trap in November of ordering some free trial of weight loss pills - Acai Max Cleanse through MAXDIET over the internet. They took ages to arrive and the trial period was finished before they arrived. Then I was charged the full amount for what they had sent. It took me I don't know how many phone calls to try and cancel only to be told each time that they will send an e-mail with a link for me to be able to cancel. The e-mails never arrived. Their website had no contact e-amil address. Eventually after abusing them on the phone I was guaranteed that all future ordersnow been cancelled.
Then out of the blue on 2 Feb at 8.46pm I apparently ordered some over weight loss stuff over the internet (and I wasn't even on the computer at that time!). The company HEALTHMAX charged my credit card with 2 amounts - one for $2.95, the other for $86.20 (I think), and then sent me an e-mail confirming that my order was complete. The contact phone numbers they provide inthe e-mail are not valid numbers and when you try to find them on the internet, none of the contact e-mails on the site are set up.
I have reported the problem to my bank, and the only way to stop them is to have my credit card blocked - so that they can no longer chargefor any fraudulent orders.
