I have ordered 2 sets of the 30secondsmile toothbrush systems. They charge 2 payments of $29.95 for each set plus $14.95 for shipping. On the second page in the order process, they will give you an option to pay it off in 1 (one) payment instead of the 2. And if you dedide to pay it off at once, they "reduce" the shipping to half off and give you Priority shipping. So, I payed off the 2 sets since I wanted to save on the shipping. Only to find out that they did charge me for the full amount of shipping, $14.95 for EACH of the 2 sets. That's $29.90 for both sets. AND if that wasn't enough, they wanted to charge (actually, they DID charge me) $9.95 for the Priority shipping as well. To add insult to injury, they CHARGE a 9% SALES TAX, not just on the merchandise (which would have been close to $120.00) BUT the SHIPPING as well. So, my total came out to be $164.30. Oh yeah, in the "confirmation email" they say "We will not bill your credit card until your order is shipped". A big, fat LIE!!! They will charge you right away. I have sent an email to consumer support, only to get a very generic reply stating that their charge is correct. So, I called the company and spoke with a sales rep who barely spoke english, and when we didn't get anywhere because he talked more than he listened, I asked for a supervisor, and the sales rep just hung up on me. I called back right away, and the second sales rep was more willing to listen and resolve the issues. He credited me back $15 on the shipping, but not able to do anything about the sales tax being charged on the shipping. He said, it was "company policy". I buy a whole lot of stuff on the Internet, and NEVER heard of such a thing that the shipping is taxable. So, watch out, they will RIPP YOU OFF!!! Now, I'm waiting for the merchandise to arrive, and who knows when that's going to be. Even with "Priority shipping", and paying close to $30 for it. And mind you, I live in the same city!
