I bought a pair of eyeglasses and pay to the counter. After paying the eyeglases including other items thereof, the saleslady ask me to to go to other counter becuase she does not have any tools to remove the seal of price and the brandsname attached to the eyeglasses. To my surprise, the lady on the other counter, Ms. Lewis, handed back to me the eyeglasses including the scissors and told me, "YOU CAN CUT IT BECAUSE IT IS NOT PART OF MY JOB". Having a background in business administration, also as an MBA degree holder, I can not help myself but to reactt annoyingly on how Ms. Lewis dealt with the customer. So, I throwed Ms. Lewis a question, "is that how you bring good service to the customer?" So I asked for the manager, and Ms. Lewis proudly present herself that she is the manager. Again, that prompted me to tell her that she is supposed to be a good team leader not an arrogant type manager. Ms. LEWIS maybe realised how strong my words are by defending herself that she was only asking a favor. Although Ms. Lewis have the reason to ask for a favor to the customer still does not justify the quality of being a good manager. Qualities such as, patience, friendly, conversant, good public relationship, good critical thinking, business marketing strategy and others can not be found in Ms. Lewis as a quality business manager. Said walgreens is just within my neighborhood and one day I hope I will not find myself spreading the news that the manager in walgreens especially in our area is rude and does not deserve to ba a manager.
