When asked for a refund Dr. Junig became very verbally abusive and unprofessional

I ordered a audio from Dr. Junig about stopping suboxone and was disappointed with the information and wanted a refund. Upon requesting a refund Dr. Junig and I had several interactions via email and he was very verbally abusive and I just want to warn everyone out there not to do buisness with this man. I have included all emails and I believe they speak for themselves.
My email-Hello I just downloaded this and started to listen and didn't know it is a AA related lecture if I knew this I would never have ordered it and wanted to know if any way to get a refund as this is not at all what I thought it was and is very misleading. Thank you
DR. Junig response-I'll send a refund, no problem... But I recommend you reconsider your attitude. I've dealt with my own opiate dependence for 20 years, had friends in all sorts of recovery programs who lived or died, treated over 400 patients, and answered e-mails from hundreds more from SuboxForum.com. I was in charge of the medhelp addiction forum for some time as well.

If anything, I'm criticized for my stance about the steps— which is that the steps are NOT adequate for treating opiate dependence. But there is one thing that I know for sure— people with an attitude that includes not being able to even hear something that 'offends' them have little chance of sustained sobriety. Every person I know who has survived without buprenorphine has one thing in common& a mind that is open to change. And the person who only accepts change in a certain way is in reality not open to change at all.

That information is worth far more than twenty bucks— but I suspect you won't get it. But when you are still struggling ten years from now, your mind will be more open, and I urge you to give it another try.

Take care,

JJ
My email-My opinion toward AA is not being closed minded. I have years experience with that horrible program that people use for addiction treatment and it has a lower success rate than to quiton your own. I recommend you read some things from the following link before you recite propaganda from a program that kills more people than it helps. Http://www.orange-papers.org/orange-aalies.html. As to the value of your product which I was unsatisfied with because it was very basic and mostly your reliving your abuse stories like a typical AA robot. I hope you can learn to live in the solution and not the problem. As for the money you can keep it $20 for you time and maybe you will learn something rather than wishing another 10yrs addiction on a person. Open mindedness is great but we should not be so open that our brains fall out. Its this kind of thinking that has lead to more harm then good throughout history. And using a program just because its the best we have is not good enough. We should strive to create addiction programs based on science and reality not 12 steps designed to lead you to help from a higher power. If this works for you and you are sober and happy than I am happy for you but I doubt that is the case. As most AA members live in the past constantly talking about addiction and associating with addicts. They are in constant fear of drugs and Alcohol and believe they have a allergy and a disease. Your reference to strawberries is horrible as your son would go into anaphylaxis and die from strawberries and you would not from narcotics or alcohol. So it is not an allergy and as a Dr. I'm surprised you use this metaphor. But AA does it all the time its just more nonsense manipulation. I can go on and on about this but have better things to do like stay healthy and talk about positive things. Please inform yourself about a program founded on religious conversion by the oxford group adopted by Bill W a man that took advantage of young women was addicted to power and ultimately was killed by his addiction to cigarettes because I don't think you really know much about it other than what you where told in meetings. As for you I wish you love and light and many years of happy fear free recovery. I will write you in ten years to let you know how I am doing because I can tell you care about people and their recovery.
Dr. Junig response-

I do care about peoplenot about recovery, but about survival. My anger was at a jack-a* who is so set on hating a program that he immediately sees things a certain way.
My anger is that IGNORANCE and bias kills peoplepeople like you.
And believe it or not, I even care about the jack-a*es.
I wont hear from you in ten years, and Ill repeat myselfwhen you eventually realize that you cant do it your wayand I know you willopen your mind and quit being a jack-a*. If you live that long, which is a big if.
By the wayI dont use AA. Or na. Of course youd know that if you listened without being focused on being a jack-a*!
My email-Wow very professional language for a Dr. I should post this email on the web to show people how u really feel about anyone with different views. But its not worth my time and I forgive u. U are so full of anger and resentment I'm surprised u manage to stay sober. I will not resort to name calling because I have no anger or resentment toward u only compassion and love, I only wish u well. Maybe u should work the steps the 4th and 5th would do u well. When u get to 9 making amends I would be happy to accept ur apology." A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds!" -love and light
DR. Junig-
All the fancy, self-righteous talk from a using drug addict... THAT'S your problem. I know— you don't 'do' humility. But the botttom line is that I KNOW how you feel— I know how insecure you are inside. I just saw two people this morning who are just like you— and I'll see 6 more before the end of the day.

You're grasping at straws, full of yourself, but owned by a substance. The truth is, it sucks to be you.

As for professionalism, there is no other way to talk to miserable drug addict who is full of himself on the outside, but who doesn't know s*t on the inside.

Everything I've told you is only for your own good; I haven't read your e-mails, just as I don't listen to the ranting of drunks. You don't seem to realize that I have seen you thousands of times.

BTW, it is so funny, and pathetic, that someone lost in addiction is putting little statements (of others) on the ends of your messages. All fluff— all bs.

Feel free to keep writing - but your messages are now going straight to the spam box.

I urge you to realize— all your bs is transparent to people who know addiction.
My email-
At this point please stop emailing me. I know ur reading this its not going to spam and all your nasty words do nothing to me. Now I will post this online to warn people about you who I don't even believe has a phd or md and if you do I will be sending your emails to my psychiatrist so he can bring it to the proper channels that deal with ethics and abusive behavior by people like yourself. Take care and again God bless.
And your a liar if u were not reading my emails u would not see the quotes at the end of them. I feel so sorry for u and it is a serious crime if u really treat people. Lying is a symptom of a dry drunk or addict I hope u get help. God bless!
