I bought a two-person sauna from The Sauna King in December. All parts had a lifetime warranty per the website and per their agreement. Within a month a relay failed. After a long delay I finally received a replacement relay.
Three weeks ago the same relay failed again. When I called them, I learned that their phone was no longer in service, despite the fact that it still appears on their website as I write this. Several emails to [email protected] were unanswered, although they were delivered.
I finally found a replacement relay in the US and have received and installed it, so my sauna is again operational. However, one of the five ceramic heating elements has failed, and I'm having no luck finding a replacement anywhere in the world. Fortunately the sauna will reach optimum temperature with only four elements.
I should never have bought this sauna without verifying the stability and financial condition of the seller, and demanding a schematic diagram and parts list. Shame on me. But I love the sauna, got it at a good price, and am determined to keep it working, whatever it takes.
