Sound Health, Bioaccoustics Be Careful taking 3000$ Bioaccoustics SoundHealth course By Sharry Edwards

I have heard so many great things about this technology and people who swear by it. I just wish it was managed by a better company or with better administration and a refund policy for product. If it's not working just take it back and send out a new one or something I dont know. But they are really gung ho to get new students thinking they are on the edge of this technology and that it needs to be given to the masses. Maybe, but how they are doing it makes it a money pit to invest in. Potential students should be warned before investing, I feel. As I do in ways feel mislead and taken advantage of. A lesson, always do your research first, which I thought I did by attending the free intro classes etc etc.

Some warnings before you invest:

1. Make sure you know what you are investing in, that it isn't just $3000 for the course, that you might want to manage how to financially afford it as their will be other expenses and possibly a sound room in your home you may wish to construct (requires certain soundproofing, speakers, putting carpet on walls etc etc).

2. I suggest you save to buy a tone box BEFORE taking and paying for the course so that you can work with it during instruction and ask any questions you need to ask. No, the course material doesn't come with one and it could take you several months to receive one after the course is complete.

3. There is a big push in class to buy really expensive equipment (like $1800 dollar tone machine reduced to $1200, but you have to buy before the end of the week long course). It's always good to be familiar with product before buying really expensive equipment which I have after buying a non-working tone box realized there is no refund policy. They offer that you can take the course a second time for free so wait till then maybe to buy additional equipment that is really expensive.

4. You may not be warned before purchase an item is on backorder. Expect delays. I had to wait 2 months for a tone box, came to me as the wrong model anyways (I ordered the s2s and ended up after a lot of waiting and hassle with a s2 squared which only worked 1 mo, no refund. Another person in my second class was in my first class too and the same thing. She was retaking the class because it took so long for her to get the tone box, she couldnt use the material without it so forgot a lot of it and wanted a refresher.

5. A client was very interested in trying an "overture" box after I told her that I had been told in class this pre-toned box was used in clinics in place of doing toning trials etc. I emailed sound health several times to get a solid answer on if the box could be used on anyone, and a better write up of what it was for. The only answer I kept getting back was not yes or no but that the box used tones of rna and dna and was a box therapists used when nothing else seemed to work etc. After receiving it, my client didn't like it, said the tones made her feel funny. She called sound health and they told her it must be the "wrong tones" for her to answer more solidly which about 5 emails never explained prior to ordering. So the answer is: yes, the "overture" box may NOT be compatible with everyone. Again no refund policy, so had to buy it back from the client. Make sure you let your client know of the risk certain boxes and tones might NOT be suitable for them or else be prepared to cover the loss.

6. Know you will have to pay $300 in annual fees to keep teleconferencing and in the forums (which you need to submit case studies to become certified). I got invoiced out of the blue even though I've yet to use the course materials because I could never get a working tone box and so many delays, no refund on the faulty one, I just gave up. I never paid the invoice and asked to be taken off the list.

8. My computer crashed and I had a heck of a time and again many delays and much misunderstandings and arguments trying to get new codes to use the software on another computer. Again it took over 1 month and many unclear confusing emails back and forth arguing with me and being defensive instead of just explaining to me how to get my codes efficiently. I had no idea it was because they want people only to use software on one computer and to pay again if they want to use it on a second one. No one told me this, hell I would have bought the program again to save the hassle.

They canceled an online meeting to get new codes without telling me and next thing I know they are saying I received an email with the codes in it that I never received. It was all very confusing. First I was not allowed to get codes without attending an online conference call. Then it was canceled without telling me when I asked what happened when no one showed up and they then said they had sent me an email with the codes I never received. I told them I didn't receive them and was wondering if this was orginally a month ago. Nothing was clearly ever answered. I was continually fought with and treated badly and told yes I did and I already received the email with the codes etc etc. Everything was a fight. Then, again, I was told the only way to get codes was an online meeting asking for the email to be resent and I was like well then why was an email sent at all? I started litterally feeling nuts and getting very upset which never happens to me. I must have exchanged 20 emails trying to make the receptionist understand why I was upset not having my software codes after 1 month of asking for them 2 months after taking a course and still no tone box after ordering it two months ago etc and many other confusing problems asking about shipping, the overture box etc and repeatedly dealing with all these non-clear confusing blaming emails. I've never experienced this before buying any product. Honestly, I'm the type of person who rarely asks for a refund on anything, maybe 3 other times in my life with simple things that were exchanged easily.By the end of this I was threatening to call the BBB and asking for a refund for the whole course unless someone sent me an email with the software codes in it. I finally got them. I then learned after their email had went to my spam folder. Still, a simple resending an email when someone says they didn't get it on product paid for is suffice.

9. The company seems very much needing money and charges for everything and anything. Make sure before investing you ask for a list of equipment, supplies and charges you might want to invest in to use the technology.

So, in the end, if you are planning to take the course, make sure before going in you know there are a LOT of hidden expenses, no refund policy, and a receptionist who might continually argue with or confuse you.
