On 09/04 I ordered the CleanWhites product online; I paid 99 cents for shipping. It touted a 14-day "risk-free" trial. On 09/08 I spoke with a CleanWhites Customer Svc Rep and clearly stated to her that I did not want to be enrolled in the program, I did not want any more of the product, and "do not charge anything to my card". On 10/05 there were 02 charges made to my card: $79.95 (program enrollment fee) $2.38 (foreign transaction fee), both originating from CleanWhites. And these 02 unauthorized debits caused 03 overdrafts/NSF incidents, which the bank charged me $33.00 each for! I tried to contact them by phone and via their website, but was unsuccessful. I then filed a claim with my bank. While in the early stages of the complaint/investigation process, my bank changed from WaMu to Chase, which further complicated things.in January I filed a complaint with BBB and with FTC. To date - 05 months, hundreds of phone calls and emails, and countless hours later - I STILL have not received a refund from the company, and because they aren't able to credit the fees back to my bank card (I cancelled it so they couldn't steal any more money from me), the bank won't reverse the overdraft/NSF fees (a total of $99.00)! Today, I sent my last demand email to CleanWhites and gave them a deadline.
