I was lured by the words FREE TRIAL from the company which goes by the name Dazzle White. They were offering me a free trial of their tooth whitening product on a reputable free sample website.
I signed up to pay the shipping charges, I thought were reasonable and waited for the product to arrive. At first all seemed well I received one tube of gel and gave it a try, seemed good but noticed the only ingredient in it is hydrogen peroxide (well - known for tooth whitening, which can be purchased very cheaply from your local chemist).
Then I received a ridiculous amount of the product in two packages. I put this down to an error made by themselves and thought cool!
Then I received my credit card statement and found I had been charged over 80 in various transactions. I immediately went to the website in order to find out what the hell was going on. I got involved in a live chat via the Dazzle White website and managed to find out that I had made the common error of not reading the small print and that I had subscribed to more than a trial, explaining the ridiculous amount of the gel being delivered to me.
I was given a cancellation number and I took it as my silly error, but also very scheming of dazzle white.
A month later I receive another statement showing unknown transactions from VH ACCESS and HEALTHMEMBER, I could only think that they were linked to the dazzle white scam as they showed amounts taken in dollars.
I immediately contacted dazzlewhite via live chat to be told that I had also signed up to these two companies. Outrageous! After long discussion they said they would call the other companies and cancel for me, How Kind! I am now in the process of demanding a refund for the money they have stolen
