I responded to a TV ad and received a promotional offer and was not interested in continuing the product. When I got further callbacks, I declined. Many months later a fast-talking rep called and was "surprised" I hadn't received some promotional products he had mailed. I told him I would not be burdened with canceling and would not be billed.
A day or so later my debit card was charged $9.99 four times for four products. I reported the fraud to my bank and they reimbursed me. I went to the trouble of changing my card and card number.
A few weeks later I received four products in the mail. I do not want the products, did not order them, and feel no obligation to return them, but I called to obtain the RAN (return authorization number) to return them, and after waiting more than 5 minutes I was "disconnected" upon telling the person I received unordered product and wanted a RAN to return it. I called again, waited more than 10 minutes and was "disconnected" again.
I would like to be part of a class action lawsuit to prosecute the individuals involved.
