I was reading a news article on Foxnews.com when I noticed an ad for Teeth Whitening for free web ad. Once I clicked on it, it lead me to whiteningnow.com. As I understood the ad, I only had to pay a small shipping fee to get free trial product. I never authorized them to charged me a full $78 for the product if I did not call them back to cancel.
Once I noticed on my bank statement that a $78 was charged to my checking account, immediately I call Whiteningnow.com to ask them to clarify and ask for a refund of the charge ($78) that I did not authorize. They told me that I had 14 days from the day that I call to call back and cancel before the charge was to applied. I was not told that when I order. They told me that on their website it was written under terms and conditions. They refused to refund although I offer to send back their product unopen.
To me, as a normal person, Free Trial is FREE TRIAL. Not many of us do read Terms and Conditions. I think their web ad is misleading. They committed fraud when they debit my account for $78 without my authorization. I think online customers should be aware of this company. I sure learn my lesson.
