The health product comes with a "Risk-Free 14 day money back guarantee"."You will have 14 days from your order date to evaluate the product". I called today which is the 14th day from the "Order date 05/05" shown on the upper right hand corner of the shipping receipt to cancel the order for the product. I was told that I could not have the $93.95 charge reversed because the order date was 05/04/09 and I should know that because two emails were sent to me with the information.
When I persisted for a resolution to the problem that is satisfactory to me, I was told I could contact an email address '[email protected]'. I tried to search while on the line with the representative and when I could find no such address, she stated the email may not be available at this time and to try later. She said she was able to access the website. When I asked for a phone number she did not have one to provide.
One should not have to rely on email when the shipping document should be considered a legal document alone. The practice of using the words 'order date' where it should state shipping date clearly puts the comsumer in a position to be deceived and should not be allowed to continue.
I am disputing the charge with my credit card company and I hope that the investigation into this company's business practice will cause the credit card company to drop them as a client.
