This company has a website offering an extensive inventory of vitamins and supplements. However, the toll free 800 number listed on that website will NEVER afford a customer service person to assist callers. This company, when I contacted them via email, lied repeatedly about the status of my shipment. Ultimately, the order was never sent because Supplements.net, nor the address I provided for said company, is not registered with FedEx as a contracted customer of FedEx.
I received a charge back from my credit union for the total of my order. They are currently pursuing a refund from the company. I have contacted the company personally asking for a refund, so that they will never profit from being a fraudulent on-line company, and so that I can give those monies back to my credit union. To date I'm getting the same lies and run around about the mailing of the refund check as I got about the shipping of my order.
I have reported this company to every credit card company they list on their website, as accepting those company cards for purchase. I've reported them to the FTC who will investigate and pursue patterns of fraud and hopefully will prosecute this company in future. I've reported them to the Better Business Bureau in their State of Colorado. I have also reported them to those on-line sites that offer discount coupons for Supplements.net.
The next step, when I do not receive the refund on my purchase from the company, is to file a police report in Colorado.
I lost only $24.15 in this purchase, which I didn't lose really because of the charge back. However, this company still profits from that amount until they're forced to return it to either myself or the credit union. Imagine how many people they rip off every single day. Especially elderly and home bound persons who think they can shop from home and who may not have the patience or the wherewithal to pursue satisfaction when this company robs them as well.
This company does not exist to mail what they advertise on-line, according to FedEx. But they do profit immensely from promising to fill orders for inventory that will, if I am the rule and not the exception, make a great deal of money lying about being legitimate supplement retailers.
Life's too short to tolerate on-line thieves. Especially in this economy when parasites should be seen, outed to the public and stopped from feeding off of unsuspecting victim$!
In a perfect world thieving scum would be sentenced to life without parole. They wouldn't receive Federal bail-outs that reward them for doing a damn fine job milking the public. And in this case, they wouldn't continue to have a website (which, if I could find their server I'd do my level best to make sure their provider knew they were hosting a faux company), wherein they can continue to rip off the consumer public.
How is it the little people, without a lot of assets are always the one's to get ripped off without having the resources to afford justice!? While companies with millions of dollars in assets are the thieves who get rewarded for being a raving success at being dishonorable criminals?!
There's something wrong with that picture. But hopefully it's a picture that will never be taken again, if just one person reads this report and avoids shopping at Supplements.net.
Go to your local health food store for your vitamin and supplement needs. Otherwise, it could turn out to be a very expensive lesson when you trust shopping on-line. Supplements.net even brags they incorporate McAfee to secure their website. Too bad McAfee cant insure you get what you paid for.
