Called me and offered doctors consultation for pain medication, took my money and gave me nothing

This company called me on April 9 purporting to be a legitimate doctors consultaion service, somehow they must have bought a list of chronic pain sufferers with my name and phone number on it. The man (calling from Boston #617-861-4474) identified himself as David LeCocksfield from Mayan Meds (or someting to that effect) and said he would talk to the doctor about a time he would call me for a consult. The next time I heard from him, he called me back saying that the "doctor" had approved a 90 day supply of Oxycontin (which I have never taken before but I heard it is very difficult to obtain a prescription for), and all I needed to do was wire $400 to a man named Orlando Johnson in the Dominican Republic. I asked why I needed to send money to another country and "David" replied "OH, THATS JUST FOR TAX PURPOSES, OUR PHARMACY IS IN THE US AND WILL SHIP VIA FEDEX, YOU'LL HAVE YOR MEDICATION TOMORROW IF WE GET THE MONEY BY 7PM EASTERN". Being a chronic pain patient with severe arthritis, this sounded like a Godsend so I actually did it.
The next day I got a phone call from David saying that he had inadvertantly shipped too much medication (240 pills) and that the package was being held at the Fedex location in my city, but he would release it if I sent another $200 to the Dominican Republic. I guess I must be REAL gullible because I did it. After that I heard nothing and they wouldnt return phone calls for days. Then I get a call from a man saying he was officer such and such from the FDA in Baltimore and that I was in big trouble because the Dominican Republic wanted to extradite me for doing business with a drug cartel. Well, this guy said that customs seized the package and I was going to jail for a year if I didnt pay a $1500 fine by that evening.
That really freaked me out - but he said that if I worked with him on catching these guys, then my fine would be reduced. So guess what? He asked me to to... Ready? SEND ANOTHER $2000 to Orlando Johnson in the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC! This would be so the DEA could catch him in the act of receiving the money of course, well that was the straw that broke the gullible camel's back. I havent called that number back and the so-called agent hasnt called me back either. I would really like to report this scam, but I wouldnt even know where to go - so the next best thing is to post my story here, I guess. The moral would be - never believe anyone requiring money be sent overseas, and always use your own doctor for obtaining medication!!
